UNITED GRINDING, a grinding and ultra-precision finishing solution provider for the manufacturing industry, held a groundbreaking ceremony in early August for its new North American headquarters to be built in Miamisburg, Ohio. The company, which already is headquartered in Miamisburg, plans to consolidate its Ohio and Virginia operations in the new facility.

UNITED GRINDING’s North American market has grown significantly over the last 15 years, and the strategic outlook includes even more growth. According to Stephan Nell, CEO of UNITED GRINDING Group, the new facility will not only further enhance customer-centric activities, but will also boost operational agility and expand numerous manufacturing offerings in the North American market.

“This strategic move allows us to provide our customers with solutions unique to the industry,” said Nell. “As a total turnkey solutions provider, we continuously look for new ways to expand our operations and business to benefit our customers and the markets we serve.”

“We are excited UNITED GRINDING has chosen Ohio for its North American headquarters,” said Glenn Richardson, JobsOhio managing director for Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace and Aviation. “The investment in this new state-of-the-art facility solidifies the company's North American base of operations in Ohio and brings 40 high-paying jobs to Miamisburg.”

JobsOhio collaborated with the Dayton Development Coalition to provide UNITED GRINDING with community and incentive resources.
