Why Ohio?

Snowville is growing at its current production facility because of its success in southeastern Ohio as well as Ohio’s leadership in the dairy industry.

The food and agribusiness industry is critical to Ohio. According to the Ohio Dairy Foods Association, the state is:

• 1 in Swiss cheese production
• 4 in low fat cottage cheese production
• 5 in ice cream production
• 10 in all cheese production

The expansion will include new yogurt filling and packaging machinery. The yogurt line replacement project is supported by financing provided by the Meigs County Community Improvement Corporation’s revolving loan fund and a grant from JobsOhio and Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE).
