Site Selectors Guild Chooses Cincinnati for Annual Conference

Cincinnati to Host up to 500 Site Selectors During 2018 Annual Conference

REDI Cincinnati, the region’s leading economic development initiative, and JobsOhio will host the first Site Selectors Guild annual meeting ever held in Ohio, from March 18 to March 21, 2018, at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza.

The Site Selectors Guild is a professional association of the world’s top site selection consultants. The event attracts economic developers and site selection consultants from around the world to share information about economic development and the state of business.

Johnna Reeder, president and CEO of REDI Cincinnati, said after several years of building on successful events, from the World Choir Games in 2012 to last year’s All-Star Game to the this year’s NAACP Convention, this event is the next step for the region. “This is the Super Bowl for economic development,” said Reeder. She continues “2018 will be a perfect time for us to be in the spotlight.”

“It is always good news when site selectors choose Ohio,” said JobsOhio President and Chief Investment Officer John Minor. “Along with our local partners, we look forward to welcoming some of the world’s foremost economic development leaders when the Site Selectors Guild’s membership visits Cincinnati next yearin 2018.”
