Kroger Announces Plans to Build a New State-of-the-Art Fresh Food Delivery Center in Cuyahoga County to Help Areas with Limited Access to Fresh Food

Company Need:
Kroger is proposing to build a Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC) in Cleveland Ohio. Kroger has entered into a strategic partnership with U.K.-based Ocado Solutions to construct a state-of-the-art, robotically automated CFC, to facilitate direct-to-customer product delivery. The CFC will utilize proprietary robotic technology, where the robots will pick and deliver products to pick stations, where associates assemble the final order, which is delivered directly to customers.
