HIG Capital, a private equity firm based in Miami, FL purchased DRI in 2017 and has subsequently poised the company for growth through expanding their production capacity and geographic footprint.
As the company looks ahead to new product lines, the company needs to establish a new manufacturing facility.

DRI will expand their presence in Northeast Ohio by opening a new manufacturing facility in Solon.
At $104.6 billion, Ohio’s manufacturing industry is one of the largest in the state. Ohio’s manufacturing workforce is the third largest in the country and the state has the lowest taxes in the Midwest for capital-intensive manufacturing. According to Business Facilities, Ohio is a top 10 state in manufacturing employment and manufacturing output percentage.
In addition to the new hires, the company will invest over $12-million in building improvements, machinery and equipment.
