Charles River Labs will add 105 new jobs to meet the growing demand for research across the world. The company plans to add approximately 88,000 square feet of laboratory and administrative space, which will include a Center of Excellence facility where swine research will be the primary focus. Once complete, this location will be one of the top swine preclinical research facilities in the world.
A Leading E-Commerce Solutions Company Expands, Bringing 203 Jobs to Northeast Ohio
Tradefull has decided to invest in Northeast Ohio to help large e-commerce companies streamline and enhance their operations. Local, regional, and state economic development partners – including the City of Green, Summit County, Greater Akron Chamber, Team NEO and JobsOhio – worked collaboratively to ensure Tradefull expanded in the Northeast Ohio Region.
ELITE Americas & JobsOhio Partnership Comes to a Close
ELITE, the private market connecting private companies with diverse sources of capital to drive their growth and JobsOhio had reached an agreement in 2019. This collaboration included access to ELITE’s unique training program for several midmarket companies to support their growth. The partnership had originally planned for a headquarters to be built in Cleveland for ELITE. The move was delayed due to travel restrictions amid COVID-19. With the announcement of ELITE closing their ELITE Americas program as part of its strategic geographical refocus after the entrance into the Euronext Group, their partnership with JobsOhio will also end. With this announcement, ELITE will no longer be opening their headquarters in Ohio.
