Project Performance Team
What does the Project Performance Team do?
The Project Performance Team supports the mission of JobsOhio by partnering with companies during the post-execution phase of their agreements. The team ensures companies are performing as expected and works with underperforming companies to achieve compliance, if possible. The team regularly interacts with company officials and regional and local economic development partners to achieve these ends.
Why is the Project Performance Team’s Work Important to JobsOhio?
The Project Performance Team works with companies to complete the life cycle of their projects. This team ensures companies receive their grant and/or loan incentives while fulfilling their contractual obligations with JobsOhio. The Project Performance Team monitors the progress of a company projects through annual reports, reimbursement requests and on-site visits or audits. This team works closely with companies if and when they experience difficulty meeting their contractual obligations. In the unfortunate event a project does not meet its contractual obligations, the Project Performance Team will take action to recover disbursed incentives as part of being a good steward of JobsOhio’s funds so that those funds may be awarded to another company. The Project Performance Team furthers JobsOhio’s mission and contributes to its goals by tracking and sharing the results of these projects with a broader audience in Ohio through Metric Evaluation Date and metric expiration date reports. This transparency is critical to all that JobsOhio does to create job opportunities for Ohioans.
