Cincinnati is preparing to host some of the world’s most innovative tech entrepreneurs. More than 800 founders of tech-based startups along with 300 big company leaders and investors will converge in the Queen City the week of October 17 for FounderCon, the annual gathering for founders part of Techstars’ global accelerator network.

Techstars is an organization that helps entrepreneurs build great businesses. Through its mentor-driven accelerator programs, Techstars offers emerging technology companies the capital, community, and collaborative business support they need to accelerate innovative ideas into successful companies.

Wendy Lea, the CEO of Cintrifuse, a startup catalyst organization that helped attract FounderCon to Cincinnati, explains why in a recent Cincinnati Enquirer article.

“We can all be proud of three attributes that make our region the premier Midwest destination for startups,” she says. “We’re serious business builders. … Help is easy to find. … We hustle.”
